ATTACK ON THE SENSES
9 October ❘ 6pm - 9pm
views available by appointment
"ATTACK ON THE SENSES art experience" is like no other art exhibition you will have been to.
Featuring paintings, sculpture, installations, audio and visual art, embroidery, live performances and live music, this art exhibition aims to provoke thought but will truly blow your mind.
All the money raised on the open nights and at least 10% of all art sales will go directly to the Al Kamandjati music centre in Ramallah Palestine.
Al Kamandjâti Music centre was created in October
2002 by Ramzi Aburedwan, a Palestinian violist
(gold medal from the Conservatoire of Angers) from the Al Amari refugee camp, Ramallah. Al Kamandjati aims to support the education and schooling of Palestinian children by making music more accessible to them, especially those living in refugee camps and villages throughout Palestine and Lebanon. This project encourages them to make music and thus transcend the daily hardships due to the Israeli military occupation. Al Kamandjati currently teaches 500 students.

Aged 38, born in Worcester and now living in Stourbridge is a multi media artist who has been working on this recent body of artworks for the past year. He says: "It has been the most upsetting and challenging body of artworks that I have had to create. The pain and suffering that some people and nations have to injure on a daily basis is beyond art or words."
" To be able to help the children and people directly affected by the issues and conflicts I have often covered in my artwork over the years, has been an absolute honour and a massive inspiration."
