CLAIRE DAWN STARMER
My work includes a range of artforms such as mixed media, paintings, line drawings, prints and wire work. I use art to translate form into shape and I like to produce pieces that invite the viewer to smile at, contemplate or engage with a subject.
I work in many mediums, usually in 2D format, including acrylics, pen, torn paper, ink, pencil and print. I am inspired by nature and my surroundings and try to interpret visuals in ‘feeling’ rather than ‘seeing’.
