A selection of drawings of various subjects:
buildings, townscapes, figure studies (clothed
and unclothed), portraits from life, erotica, details
taken from the great painters (Titian, Caravaggio,
Van Dyck, Rubens, El Greco etc.).
The series of pieces created for ‘More than Colour’ are in response to images, colour and form that took my eye in magazines.

The exhibition explores the act of drawing, its immediacy, the way it can convey meaning through just a few strokes of a pencil, pen or crayon. The way the hand, eye and brain connect onto the paper and connect with the viewer.
