Fringe Arts Wolves begins long before festival weekend with communities across Wolverhampton helping to create the lanterns, creatures and artworks that will eventually illuminate the city!

Join willow lantern artist Adam and learn how to make your own small willow lantern in preparation for the Fringe Arts Wolverhampton Lantern Parade in November.

Sign up to become a lantern bearer and carry one of the illuminated Jellyfish lanterns through Wolverhampton city centre on Friday 27 November.
Please register before the 14th November and arrive at 7pm on the evening.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO - ACROSS THE CITY
The lantern parade and light trail are being created with communities across Wolverhampton.
Members of the Steel Bones group at West Park Hospital, supporting amputees, have been making willow lanterns, alongside participants from SUIT.
Public workshops over the summer have also invited people to create sea creatures for one of the festival's light displays, building towards the artworks you'll discover across the city in November.
We are also hoping to work with local schools to transform upcycled household materials into sea creatures and create drawings for the light displays.
