Creative Recovery is a new peer-led creative mentoring programme delivered by Asylum Art Gallery & Studios, supporting adults in recovery to explore creativity, build confidence and develop new skills in a welcoming, non-clinical environment.
Building on the success of our PROFILE Alternative Art School, which supported participants through artist mentoring, cultural visits and creative development, Creative Recovery provides an ongoing space for people to continue their creative journey. Through fortnightly sessions, artist talks, practical workshops and peer support, participants will have the opportunity to connect with professional artists, develop their own creative practice and become part of a supportive artistic community. We will be working with approx 12 referrals from SUIT.
Commisioned by Police Chief Commissioner and in partnership with SUIT recovery.
