An exhibition of portraits and stories of the women who walked in silence 10th March in Wolverhampton City Centre for International Womens day. Spoken Word Artists will respond.

The steps behind St Peters Church Wolverhampton.
Dressed all in white.
To walk in remembrance, in prayer and hope for the future.
To walk in silence together through the city stopping at poignant locations.
To walk in silence for international womens day.
To walk in solidarity.
To be present.
Lasting about an hour.
Cards will be given out saying 'Deeds not words'.
There will be an exhibition afterwards showcasing the portraits and stories of the women who walked:
6pm-9pm Asylum Art Gallery
There will also be spoken word.
On the 3rd March at Asylum Art Gallery, anyone women wanting to participate can come for a chat and get their portrait taken for the exhibition and donate their story about why they walked.
