Yazmin Boyle Title: Translating the materials wants and needs Date: 19th February – 12th March 2022 Artist/researcher and everything in-between, Yazmin Boyle, presents a solo exhibition, Translating the Materials Wants and Needs. A central part of Boyle's practice is collaboration, through which they investigate materials, processes, and the viewers' reactions to them. Boyle's sculptural work evaluates various languages of material to uncover new forms of meaning. The exhibition will feature Boyle's artworks, as well as works created in collaboration with participants, exploring how encounters can deepen our understanding of ourselves, our bodies, and our collective action. Opening times: Monday 11-4pm Wednesday 11-4pm Saturday 11-4pm Sunday 11-4pm Show Timetable / Dates Saturday February 19th, 2022 - 11-12pm A neuro-diverse opening event, which will situate a quieter viewing space for those who will benefit from this. 15 -16pm an opening event will take place for the remainder of the public. Saturday 26th February 2022 A collaborative workshop event featuring 6 recruited participants (3 in the gallery and 3 online) will be held in the gallery. Saturday 5th February 2022, A neuro-diverse interactive event will take place, where visitors are invited to interact with the artworks and reposition them in the gallery from 11-13pm. Sunday 6th February 2022 Visitors to the gallery will be able to interact with and reposition the artworks during an interactive event taking place from 14 to 16pm.
